LKV Ventures awarded $240,508 Real Estate Improvement Fund Grant

October 31, 2019   Battle Creek, Michigan – LKV Ventures has been awarded a $240,508 grant from Battle Creek Unlimited through the downtown Real Estate Improvement Fund.  This fund was made possible by a grant from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation aimed at addressing significant hurdles faced by those wanting to invest in downtown by focusing on revitalizing vacant space, improving code compliance, structural and mechanical issues, and other upgrades. JPG Resources awarded $208,618 Real Estate Improvement Fund Grant, creating a permanent location for Café Rica

October 15, 2019   Battle Creek, Michigan – JPG Resources has been awarded a $208,618 grant from Battle Creek Unlimited through the downtown Real Estate Improvement Fund.  This fund was made possible by a grant from the W.K. BCU Extends Contract with President & CEO

Handmap Brewing Unveils Plans to Start Operations in Battle Creek, Michigan

WACO Aircraft Co. plans $18 million expansion at W.K. Kellogg Airport in Batte Creek

WACO Aircraft Co. is embarking on an $18 million expansion at the W.K. Kellogg Airport that will include additional space for visiting private pilots and a restaurant that will be open to the general public. Peter Bowers, president of WACO, said his company is adding about 80,000 square feet of new space which will include a new office complex with a reception area for aviators coming into Battle Creek. 2 multi-million dollar projects underway at W.K. Kellogg Airport

The city-owned and operated W.K. Kellogg Airport saw not one but two multi-million dollar expansions kick off this week. WACO Aircraft Co. broke ground Tuesday for a $20 million expansion of its facility on South Airport Road on the east side of the airport.
